John Havlicek: Hall Of Famer, Again

Ohio State’s John Havlicek was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1984, thanks to his high level of play over 16 seasons with the Boston Celtics. He has now been inducted into the 2015 class of the College Basketball Hall of Fame.

“Hondo” Havlicek was part of the same recruiting class of Fred Taylor’s at Ohio State that included Jerry Lucas, Mel Nowell and Bobby Knight. In his three seasons at Ohio State, Havlicek averaged 14.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
