Still On Top

Poll Position: Top 10, Week 1

The 2014 college football season is a mere few days away and we here at The Buckeye Battle Cry have finally managed put our top ten together.  Everyone knows preseason polls mean absolutely nothing when it comes to crowning a champion but they sure are fun to talk about… at least until the first College Football Playoff begins.

Like the media polls, the Buckeyes started in the top 5 for our initial staff survey, but fell a few spots following news of Braxton’s surgery.

  1. Florida St   (10)
  2. Alabama
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Oregon
  5. UCLA
  6. Ohio State
  7. Michigan State
  8. Baylor
  9. Auburn
  10. South Carolina

*Others receiving votes:  Stanford, Georgia, LSU

Florida State was unanimous number 1. To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man… but The Noles face a tough challenge in week one when they take on Oklahoma State.
Stop back each week and see who the movers and shakers are.
