D’Angelo Russell named NABC and AP All-American

There is no denying that freshman D’Angelo Russell was one of the best basketball players this season, despite Ohio State falling during the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament. Earlier today, the National Association of Basketball Coaches named Ohio State’s leader in nearly every single statistical category a 1st team All-American.

Russell and Frank Kaminsky of Wisconsin are the only B1G players selected to All America. Kaminsky, like Russell, was also named to the first team.

The Buckeye freshman averaged 19 points, 5 assists and nearly 6 rebounds per game this season.
