We first saw the news over at MotSaG that Ohio State’s JT Barrett had police respond to his apartment following reports of a domestic incident.
.. best assistant coach in the country. But then we already knew that. Per the OSU Athletic Department: The Rotary Club of Little Rock announced Coach Tom Herman, Ohio State University Offensive Coordinator as the 19th recipient of the Broyles Award, given annually to the top assistant coach in college football. Herman was honored, along […]
Let’s get it on! Saturday night can not come quickly enough for me. I’m sure Cardale Jones feels the same way. A lot is at stake in the B1G championship game but the big prize — a trip to the College Football Playoff — is what everyone is eyeing. Jones will make his first start and […]
Be honest. On August 18th, when it was discovered that Braxton Miller was out for the season, you wrote off Ohio State’s chances at a B1G title. And you probably laughed out loud at the thought of getting to the National Playoff. “Next year, the Buckeyes will be loaded with Braxton coming back… Just watch!” […]
The Game has come and gone. The regular season is over. A lot has happened and changed since August when the 2014 campaign began. A lot has changed since Saturday, November 29th. We’ll get into it. It’s Wednesday, let’s rumble! The Game For three quarters the 2014 rendition of The Game was eerily reminiscent of […]
I know I echo the thoughts of all Buckeye fans when I say I wish a speedy recovery to JT Barrett and hope he returns next year better than ever. Despite all the bad stuff, hey everyone, WE BEAT MICHIGAN, AGAIN!! Turn that frown upside down. We will be fine with Cardale Jones. I admit, […]
UPDATE: Ohio State confirms that Barrett has a broken ankle and will miss the remainder of the season. Surgery is scheduled for Sunday morning.
We’re going to leave this on the front page as news becomes available on Saturday and Sunday.
Ohio State’s win against Michigan had the celebration tempered by the injury to their Heisman candidate quarterback, JT Barrett.
Barrett, who watched the end of the game from the stands and left the stadium on crutches, has been ruled out for next weekend’s B1G Championship Game according to Urban Meyer after The Game.
Tim May from the Columbus Dispatch reported sources had told him that it was a dislocated right ankle and a possible broken bone.
I don’t know about you but I’ve waited all season for this game. Because *ichigan has been so bad lately, the B1G division title is not up for grabs. Ohio State already has that crown and a berth in the championship game. But a larger prize awaits: A spot in the first football playoff. The […]
We are officially smack dab in the middle of Hate Week! I’m sure you’ve kept the color blue out of your clothing choices so far, make sure and finish strong. Speaking of finishing strong, the Buckeye of 2013 unfortunately did not. This years model looks to make amends. We’ll talk about it all. It’s Wednesday, […]
Call it The Great Escape? Wellllllllllll, it probably wasn’t as much of an escape as Craig Krenzel’s Holy Buckeye play in 2002. But it was up there, that’s for sure. For some reason, OSU’s offense sputtered at times and turned the ball over too much. And the defense failed to live up to its Silver […]
As the Hoosiers come into town, Coach Meyer chats about the challenge of facing Tevin Coleman and JT Barrett’s development in the Ohio State system in this exclusive from the team at Campus Insiders:
Now this is a legitimate trap game. Big win on the road last week against a tough, ranked opponent and The Game looming next week. Ohio State can’t lose focus. Can’t afford a 7 or even a 10-point win. Need to kick Indiana back to Bloomington with authority. Need to put up 50 or 60 […]
It’s been a part of the buzz around the Buckeyes’ season, and now Campus Insiders’ Bonnie Bernstein, Pete Fiutak, and Matt Brown debate which Buckeye quarterback gives Ohio State the best chance to win the National Championship in 2015:
There are only two weeks left in the regular season of college football. It is hard to believe how fast things have been moving. The Buckeyes return home for the final two regular season games of 2014 starting with Indiana and closing out with, as always, TTUN in The Game. We’ll talk about Minnesota, ponder […]
Headed down the streetch and within striking distance of a playoff spot, the Buckeyes did themselves some good by defeating the Gophers in one of the coldest games in college football in fifty years. The struggle was adjusting to the cold for some, but the hot nature of the level that some of them play […]
